The Pierre High School Class of 1956 50th Reunion is coming!

Our 50th class reunion will be held September 22-24, 2006.

The festivities begin Friday, September 22, 2006  with a mixer and registration at the Izaak Walton. You may pre-register using the Registration Page on this website. Just go there, print it out, mark what you want and send, with payment, to Jeannette.

A Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for those who wish to visit the links and just cruise around with classmates. Some of the proceeds will go to establishing an "Alumni Scholarship Fund". Contact Neil Moulton.

A social event will be held every day at the Schimkat Tavern, AKA Oahe Storage. Contact Clint Schimkat.

An adventure on the Mighty Mo will be hosted by Clint and Ruby schimkat. Contact River Boat Cap'n Clint Schimkat.

A social hour and dinner with dancing will be held Saturday, September 23 starting a 6:00 PM at the Izaak Walton.

Other activities on the drawing board are:

•  Cocktails at the Ramkota Inn from 1:00 AM till 11:30 PM

•  Tour of the Oahe Dam

•  Great entertainment (Stephanie Tucker concert, TBD)

•  Join in....recommend some activities you'd like to do...and we'll see if we can "Git 'R Done"

So....dust off your Gumbos, green and white paint your body, strap on your shootin' irons and get ready to ruuuummmmmbbbble this September with all your friends and classmates.

If you did not receive a reunion letter and registration form in the mail, that means you are not invited...just kidding. It does mean that your address is not current on the class mailing list. So get up-to-date, check out our Classmate Locator page and notify Jeannette Pfeifer of any changes.

Recall the last reunion?

The Class of '56 is now presenting its own version of "reality TV"!  It is a true test of your bravery if you choose to participate.  Here's how it works:  just send in a copy (to the email address below) of a CURRENT photo of yourself, pose it up, make it good!  We will then match it up with your Class of '56 yearbook photo and present them side-by side in the Now & Then Photo gallery.

If you are a member of the Class of '56, please send in a biographical sketch of your life since leaving high school.  We would also like a picture of you and your family.  We will be putting together a history book with this information.  This information can be sent to Neil & Mary Helen Moulton.
