Class of 1956 50th Reunion!

September 22-24, 2006

The Pierre High School Class of 1956 held it's fiftieth class reunion September 22-24, 2006.  The festivities began earlier in the week with gatherings at Clints Tavern.  

Friday evening, we had a mixer at the Isaak Walton and we also had a dinner there on Saturday.  Both were so well attended that it was testimony to the camaraderie we had while in high school together.

At the dinner, Jeannette was honored for all her hard work, and Bill Picotte's family guided us in a traditional friendship ceremony.

The only down side to the week was the incessant rain until Sunday.  Perhaps that was the result of LaVona's wishing for it months ahead of time.
