Pierre High Class of '56 Website!

The Pierre High School Class of 1956 50th Reunion was a resounding success!

Perhaps the attendance at the 50th was the greatest we have had, thanks to the hard work of Jeannette and the rest of the organization committee.  People came from the farthest reaches of the country; from the New England States, the Southeastern Coast, California, Oregon, Washington, and even Alaska.

The only down side was the weather.  For those of us who didn't stay on the paving, we got a good lesson as to why our yearbook was named "The Gumbo".  The rain which kept us all indoors worked out for Ed Matthews though.  He was surrounded by a bevy of beautiful classmates during the daytime.

We had a great time at Clint's Tavern and thank him for providing a central watering hole.  The mixer and Dinner couldn't have been better.  Thanks also to Bill Picotte for everything he and his family did to make our reunion a success (although, it is common knowledge that he still owes Kad a drink).

The time was too short to visit with all our classmates for those who had prior commitments and scheduled flights.  What a shame.

Now we need to look forward to our 55th.  During the interim though, it will be possible for all of us who reconnected to continue our friendship with classmates.  If you have changed your physical address or your e-mail address, let us know.  We will keep the class locater page updated.
